Dana Balassi is a certified QiGong instructor in the Liu family forms, which incorporate Taoist, Tibetian, Zen and Buddhist meditation techniques. She studied in Washington and China over the last 7 years and taught at Gilda's club in Seattle for a year.
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction-Introduction
September 15th 5:30-6:30 P.M.Learn how Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teaches you effective tools for managing stress and cultivating relaxed awareness. MBSR is helpful in relieving such psychological and physical symptoms as depression, anxiety, sleep disturbances, chronic pain, high blood pressure
and improving overall health and wellbeing. Participants report better coping and communication skills, less reactivity, improved relationships and a more balanced life.
This free introduction includes a brief guided meditation and an overview of mindfulness practices
